Disney is Expanding its Longstanding Relationship with Blue Star Families

This week, The Walt Disney Company announced plans to expand its partnership with Blue Star Families as part of its extensive celebration of America's 250th Anniversary.

Our current partnership with Disney includes unique events and experiences, including “Blue Star Books,” which brings military families together through the joy of reading and play. From Veterans Day 2025 through the July 4, 2026 weekend, Disney will feature special programming, storytelling, and experiences to celebrate our nation's remarkable journey and inspire patriotism in every generation. 

In addition to Disney's sizable donation to BSF to help strengthen military families, the company is continuing its legacy of honoring U.S. military service members, veterans, and their families with:

  • Special screenings of new movie releases on military bases across the United States

  • Live news coverage of celebrations and activations featuring veterans and active military service members stationed across the globe

  • Resort and cruise offerings for eligible service members

  • Expanding efforts to provide networking, professional training, and hands-on experience for military veterans entering the civilian workforce
