Blue Star Families of the Greater Fayetteville Region was honored as Nonprofit of the Year at the 2026 Annual Awards Banquet hosted by the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce. This recognition reflects the collective impact of our military families, volunteers, partners, and community supporters who make this work possible every day. It is a testament to what can happen when a community comes together in support of those who serve.

In a region deeply connected to Fort Bragg, building meaningful bridges between military families and the local community is essential. Military families face unique challenges — from frequent moves to career disruptions and social isolation — and connection is critical. Through career support initiatives, family programming, volunteer engagement, and community partnerships, our mission is to strengthen those connections and ensure military families feel seen, valued, and supported.

This award belongs to this community.

It belongs to the volunteers who show up. The partners who say yes. The families who participate. And every neighbor who believes military families deserve to feel connected and supported.
